16oz can. Canning date appears to be stamped '01/05/21'.
Black colored body. Brief, fizzy tan head, which disappears in less than a minute. Active surface show. No lacing.
Aroma smells sweet, with chocolate cookie wafers and vanilla. The wafting of alcohol fumes is evident.
Taste is semisweet, with an Oreo type vibe. Has a definite chocolate wafer and vanilla combination. The alcohol comes in at the end and rises into the nasal passages. Aftertaste is chocolate cookie wafer.
Medium mouth feel. Without appreciable carbonation the beer feels flat and somewhat thin.
This is a malted beverage that carries a lot of alcohol, and has a taste similar to an Oreo cookie. This is not difficult to drink but works best as a dessert choice, which can be savored over a longer period of time. Very much warms the stomach.

Looks: Pours a nice dark chocolate brown with a thin caramel head that dissipates rather quickly. Lice on the glass is OK. It could use a frothier head.
Smell and Taste: Dark chocolate and cream with note of vanilla. Yea, like an Oreo Cookie. For 10.5%ABV it is not a Boozy tasting brew. Nice aftertaste, lingering chocolate cookie notes.
Feel: The alcohol will sneak up on you. That's a good thing if you are prepared for it. Thick, oily and sort of flat because of the low carbonation.
Overall: Because of the sweetness, low carbonation and high ABV, I would say this his a good after dinner beverage, like a brandy (?). I believe if this one came in a nitro its would be outta sight.

Served from the can in a Mickey Finn's shaker pint glass.

That dog just keeps on looking regal, makes me feel like such a pleb. Anyway, this stuff pours a straight obsidian topped by a half-finger or so of khaki foam. The nose comprises mild roasted malts, mild coffee, chocolate syrup, and stiff vanilla bean. The taste, at its core, is a molten mass of chocolate syrup and mild roast; this core, then, is enveloped in a thick layer of vanilla and milk sugar; the result is a fairly cloying experience, one that leans more toward the filling of a triple-stuft Oreo than a cookies-n-cream-flavored anything, if that makes sense. (Rephrased: It's all cream, not much cookie, and that's no bueno.) The body is a light heavy, with a light moderate carbonation and a full feel. Overall, this stout just misses the mark in the flavor department, going too hard on the sweet cream for me to enjoy it all that much.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a large, bubbly brown head of foam. It receded and left little lacing. It smelled of cream, chocolate, toffee and sweet caramel. Nice chocolate and cream taste with toffee, molasses and hints of caramel.

Black pour with a mocha cap. Get cream more than anything on the nose, dark cocoa and a ton of roasted malt after. Taste is sickly sweet, syrupy cocoa, vanilla cream, and more sugar overpower even the powerful roasted malt. Thick, syrupy, and roasted. No bueno, would really want sugar to enjoy this

Canned 2/25/20; drank 4/28/20 @ the Yarchives.

Black appearance.

A violent pour yielded a HUGE dark tan head (careful pouring!); minimal lace.

Cream, fresh earth & dark chocolate notes in the nose.

Thick, sticky mouthfeel.

Vanilla syrup, chocolate syrup & fresh earth flavors; this was syrup-y & kind of unpleasant.

Not one I'll return to.
