16 oz can, dated 9/4/20, into EBC Teku.
Pours a foggy straw-honey color with a creamy white cap of 2 fingers, leaving bubbly lace as it recedes slowly.
Aroma brings white grapefruit, muscat, a little hop spoilage, and tangerine rind.
I get the watermelon juice in the flavor, with following notes of juicy white grapefruit and lemon rind. Some grainy malt also mixes in and finishes on the palate. Slight hop spoilage though only mildly noticeable.
Feel is crisp and carbonated, with a little heat even at 5.5%, and has a slight resinous finish with lingering dryness.
Overall, not one for the record books, and might be the shabbiest of the Pipeworks IPAs I've had yet. It's probably not one I'll revisit. Glad I didn't buy a 4 pack.
