Sour Wheat Ale with Passionfruit and Mango Juice.
The warm 4 pm sun throwing long shadows... the final weeks of summer are here and we're clinging to them goshdarnit! Just as we're in the liminal space between seasons - not quite summer, not quite fall - this beer also is a bit of two worlds. Summer Shadows is tart and tangy with tropical passionfruit and mango juice. We began with a kettle soured wheat base for a soft yogurty complexity and added a tropical hop profile and enough juice to accent but not eclipse. It's a good beer for sipping when you're not quite ready to put the shorts away for the season.

Taste: semi sweet mango juice, Passion fruit, some bread character. Same with the nose. Pale gold hue, mostly clear, with white head and some lace. Medium to med/light body. Easy drinker for the summer.
