Pup is a Believe it or not, Jones Dog, our Imperial Stout, was once a pup. This beer has all the milk chocolate flavor in a smaller, easier 6.5% ABV stout. Pup is full of chocolate malt, and a bit of milk sugar to soften the roast.

Look: Pours like black coffee. Head quickly disappears to a very thin ring at the glass with moderate lacing.
Smell and Taste: Strong black coffee and dark chocolate with some of the bitterness of each. It's very dry for a milk stout.
Feel: Seltzery.
Overall: Not one of my favorite stouts. Seem stomach have more of the character of a strong brown ale than a stout. Time to move on to something else.
