Margarita Beer ~ Sour ale with key limes, oranges, and orange peel.
Nothing says a good time like a Round of Margs! This beer captures all the zesty tangy fun of a margarita in a super drinkable and refreshing beer. We brewed this beer with fresh key limes, oranges, and even a pinch of salt at the end to bring it home.
This beer (surprise!) pairs well with tacos, spicy foods, and outside chill times in the sun.

There is a date on the rim of the can that is difficult to read, but it appears to say: "PKG 08/09/21"
Appearance: The body is hazy and light gold in color. It has a medium-large head that is both frothy and fizzy. Good retention but not much lacing.
Aroma: CO2 burn on the nose as soon as it approaches. After the CO2 clears a bit there is a light bit of an aroma of cherry, papaya, and lime. Mango pops in after the beer is agitated a bit, but it pushes out the other aromas and dominates the nose. It seems like it takes a bit of time for this beer to open up to its full potential, but when it does it is quite pleasant.
Taste: Up front there is a papaya and sulfur flavor. Towards the middle of the mouth, mango flavor comes through with a light touch of wheat. It has a nice mango lemonade flavored aftertaste. A more distant aftertaste gives impressions of dry cider.
Mouthfeel: It is light with a dry finish. Carbonation is great. It is very enjoyable to drink.
Overall: It is a very impressive beer that gets better in respect to aroma and flavor while it sits in the glass. At first it smelled pretty good but as the beer rested the bouquet of aromas opened up. Likewise, the fruity flavors became much more prominent as the beer was consumed. I would definitely drink it again and I would highly recommend it. It isn't a beer to buy a sample of because the character might not fully develop in a partial pour. This would work great as a summer or spring beer but it is equally as enjoyable in the fall. The can states that this is a "SOUR ALE WITH MANGOS, KEY LIMES, ORANGES, AGAVE AND SALT." Mostly the mango comes through but the lime character actually came through first on the nose. All of these seem to work well in harmony with each other.
