Oktoberfest Festbier seems to diverge from the traditional recipe. It leans more into the Ale territory than you'd typically expect from an Oktoberfest brew, featuring a robust malt profile accompanied by molasses and caramel notes. While the flavor profile might not be everyone's stein of beer, the can design is undeniably eye-catching. Overall, it's an intriguing take, but not quite hitting the mark for me.

Nothing terrible but just an average at best festbeer. Might work for no crafty friends but I need more in a fest beer.

16 ounce can - Woodstock Beer Market in Woodstock, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a bronze-hued body with nearly an inch of near white froth. Minimally hazy appearance.
Smell: Lightly bready, moderately grainy with a veneer of golden syrup. Minor dry herbal tone, slight hint of farm-fresh apple.
Taste: A sweetness mingled with a firm barley graininess. Herbally, just-picked apple-y vibe. Lightly bitter. Slides into a wildflower honeyish flavor midway. Finishes malty and on the sweet side.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Relatively smooth on the tongue.
Overall: Not quite as crisp, clean or refined as some. Instead, it lands smack dab in the So-So Territory.
