Sour Rye Ale with Cherries.
We set out to brew a tangy & tart beer with nice structure and an excellent cherry character and... we did it! Cherry Rye is just that; a sour ale that really emphasize the individual ingredients. This recipe comes to us from a newer member of our brew team, John.
While it's not exactly a holiday beer - it's a holiday beer.

No ratings still. Wow. Let me be first then
Pours an effervescent purple with 3 fingers of pinkish head. No head retention or lacing
S: Some dark cherry notes, peppery Rye
T: Sweet dark cherry up front, some tart notes & plenty of peppery notes, plus some tart black currant & tart lemon up front. A little dryness works in as this warms, more tart black currant, a touch of cherry & a little peppery Rye on the edges. Finishes dry, tart with cherry & black currant
MF: Medium body, pretty form carbonation, pushes the flavors forward
Pretty easy to drink, just not that memorable for the style. Don't regret buying a 4 pack, but won't do it again

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
