16oz can, dated 02.04.2025, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass. Enjoyed on 03.07.2025, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a copper orange color, amber hues, very clear with a slight chill haze, a fluffy white head that has excellent retention and yields nice soapy lacing. The aroma is full of tropical fruits, guava and citrus, lightly floral, plenty of biscuit and pale doughy grain, sweet booze, earthy bitter green hop. The flavors are good, green, raw, earthy hop, very piney, very bitter, grapefruit peel, grass clippings, citrus and guava, very tropical fruit profile, pale grain, sweet booze, mineral water finish. The mouthfeel is good, coating, thick, heavier medium body, warm and dry finish.
Verdict: Another bruising IPA from Pipeworks. Definitely 9.1%, it's big, bold, earthy, punchy, and very aggressive.

16oz can, date stamped 02/04/25
L: clear deep golden/almost copper colored ale capped by a tall & frothy ivory colored head that leaves chunky lacing on the glass
S: juicy and fruity citrus and tropical fruit; bready caramel malt, pine
T: caramelized grain, white bread crust, orange blossom honey, stone fruit, grapefruit, tangerine, earthy & pungent pine
F: fuller body, resinous & sticky, dry and bitter finish with pine and pithy citrus lingering with some residual sweetness
O: Pipeworks rarely disappoints with their IPAs and DIPAs. This was really good.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. Grapefruit, pineapple, orange and sweet caramel aroma. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

From a 16oz can:
Appearance: Mostly clear yellow, good head.
Smell: Mango, citrus, sweetness.
Taste: Nice sweetness, tropical fruit and citrus, low bitterness, soft and tasty.
Overall: Picked up a sampler of Pipeworks, I usually like their IPAs and this one hit the spot. I've leaned back into old school DIPAs, this one is the more modern style but still worked for me. Nice sweetness and fruitiness, no hop burn.

16oz Can mfg date 2/22/22 into a Spiegelau glass.
L: Pours bright crystal clear yellow/gold w/a 2.5" eggshell white tight foamy head, big carbo bubbles, very good head retention down to a loose center cap, broad banding w/some skeletal lacing.
S: Pineapple, citrus, lightly caramelized malts, coconut, a hint of bread, a bit of alcohol.
T: Banana, pineapple, coconut, light tangerine, papaya, caramel candy, delicately pale malts. Fairly tropical w/affably rich flavors. Not too sweet w/very subtle bitterness. A touch of hop resin in the clean finish which lingers slightly. Some alcohol as the beer warms.
F: Clean, gently crisp, firm, semi-juicy medium light bodied mouth feel w/a slightly drying medium length finish.
O: This American DIPA drinks extremely easy for it's 9.1% ABV w/excellent fresh fruity flavors that are not over the top in any way. It has a clean appearance, taste & feel and is very well balanced. It is excellent in it's style.
