16oz can, dated 02.19.2025, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass. Enjoyed on 04.01.2025, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours an orange/amber color, copper and golden hues, more cloudy than hazy with a tall and fluffy white head, excellent retention that yields great soapy lacing. The aroma is nice, piney and herbal, nice floral bouquet, berry fruits, melon, citrus peel, pale grain, and mineral water. The flavors are good, bright hops, citrusy, berry fruits, guava, nice and tropical, floral and grassy, dank, piney, resinous with a sweet pale grain bill and a mineral water finish. The mouthfeel is good, coating, smooth medium body with a crisp and dry finish.
Verdict: A very nice hoppy pale ale from Pipeworks. Bright yet bitter, tropical yet earthy, super sessionable, great balance.
