Canned 10/20/23; drank 11/13/23 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque brown appearance.
A rough pour yielded a HUGE, noisy tan head (careful pouring!); nice lacing remained.
Brown sugar. mild caramel & mild rye notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Mild notes of brown sugar, rye spice & faint caramel on the palate.
Inoffensive, but borderline dull. I demand more from my brown ales.

L: brown body; frothy khaki head holds good retention
S: toasted grain, spicy/earthy rye, chocolate, earthy hops
T: toasted rye bread, grain, caramel, chocolate, earthy/spicy hops pair nicely with the spicy/earthy rye
F: fuller body, ample carbonation, balanced dry finish
O: I need to get more of this one!
