Lizard King isn't just the king of lizards...he's also THE CLOUD KING! We brewed a hazy Mosaic hopped pale ale that's light and fluffy like clouds with juicy notes of ripe blackberry, blueberry lemon and lime. It's a supreme sipper fit to wear the crown.

Canned 4/17/26. Good NE ipa with nice mouthfeel; thickish haze; medium hoppiness; a citrusy/fruity/tropical-kinda/earthyish flavor and a clean, quick-fading but funky, kinda sharp aftertaste.

16oz can, dated 05.01.2025, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass. Enjoyed on 06.08.2025, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a hazy lemon straw color, golden hues with a soapy white head, foamy and fluffy that has great retention and nice lacing. The aroma is pleasant, earthy, dank, herbal hops, piney, citrusy, floral with a fruity quality and plenty of pale dough. The flavors are good, dry, bitter and green hop, herbal, piney, citrus peel, dank weed, wildflower, some juicy fruit qualities, pale grain and mineral water. The mouthfeel is nice, fluffy medium body, smooth, dry but creamy finish.
Verdict: A nice mosaic pale ale from Pipeworks. Dank, bitter, citrusy, very easy going.

Best by 5/1/25 - with apparently no margin of error.
L - Hazy, dusky yellow with one finger of head that receded to a coarse film clinging to the edge. No lacing.
S - Lemongrass followed by tropical fruits.
T - Muted/confused at the start but finished with citrus fruit juices.
F - Medium heavy feel that juiciness counteracted.
O - Maybe better when fresh.
