16oz can, dated 02.10.2025, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass. Enjoyed on 04.02.2025, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a hazy orange color, golden straw hues, fluffy white head, very good retention and nice soapy lacing. The aroma is pleasant, pine, herbal tea, lime citrus, bitter grapefruit peel, floral hop, pale dough, sweet yeast, and mineral water. The flavors are good, bitter and green, very piney and earthy hop, dank and grassy, lime citrus, strawberry and melon fruits, pale grain, doughy, mineral water finish. The mouthfeel is pretty thick and chewy, coating, heavy medium body with a very smooth but dry finish.
Verdict: A pretty solid hazy IPA from Pipeworks. Very earthy and green but there is some brightness behind the bitterness that makes for an enjoyable beer.
