22 ounce bottle into a tulip snifter. Bottled 5/25/17, had 7/4/17.
Pours a medium amber, hazy, with a one inch head and some foamy lacing. Aromas of pine, light citrus, malt, brown sugar, raisins, light yeast. The taste kicks up the pine and resin, a more defined citrus- grapefruit, malt, raisins, dates, brown sugar. Smooth, creamy, a good medium body, well carbonated.
Great flavor, a nice hop/malt balance, leans to being a barleywine. Worth a purchase.

Dark amber red opaque body, tan head and lacing. Standard for style in the nose: pine, grapefruit, orange, caramel, with a brown sugar flair. Taste adds fruit depth without getting overly sweet, caramel balances, hop bitters are pretty mild. Feel is medium bodied, malty, and finishes plenty bright for style. A touch more hop definition without losing the fruity base of the beer would elevate

Aroma is pine, spices and sweet citrus. The flavor is grapefruit, pine needles, malts, mild citrus, spicy hops and a bitter/mild heat/warming alcoholic finish.

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a speiglau IPA glass.
Look is a deep mahogany red with an off white tan head.
Aroma is aggressive buttering hops spicy and herbal.
Taste matches aroma. Very similar to an arrogant bastard but less malt more hops.
Great beer to ring in the 4th!

Hoppy and fruity red ale, hazy medium amber body, ample head of ivory foam; really brings a lot of flavor and aroma to the fore; medium-bodied, soft but the bitter edges keep it together nicely.
