L- Kind of muddy. The blueberry really darkens this beer. Not that it would be clear without it.
S-Blueberry is the overwhelming smell. I can't detect the usual Hefe smells.
T- This is true to smell. The Blueberry is completely natural and not overly sweet. Pleasant, but again I get no Hefe flavors either.
F- Good level of carb. Medium feel.
O- I don't want to say this brew isn't tasty. It's quite drinkable. I just get none of the usual Hefe characteristics. If I was rating to taste the rating would be higher. Still I would have preferred to pick up more Hefe as well.

A - Pours a watermelon color with a small fizzy head that goes away quickly. No lacing at all.
S - The aroma is very mild.
T - Nice Hefeweizen flavor, slightly tart, blueberry flavor is very mild.
M - Highly carbonated, thin mouth feel, crisp and refreshing.
O - Best of the 3 beers I picked up from Crop Bistro. Very drinkable, a great summer beer.

Alewife and I stopped by Crop on 20AUG15 during a stay in Stowe. Sat out in the Biergarten and each started with the Bavarian Blue.... Served in a tall, slender flute for $6.50.
It was a cloudy brew, with the color a hazy, muted hue similar to mango/guava juice. Odd color for a hefe-, imo.... Head was a thin white layer, with nice lacing. Nose was mild, with some yeasty notes and a wheaty character. Had a solid feel, with a medium body and minimal prickle.
Was lightly fruity, with a touch of banana and dry, crisp wheat. Blueberry action was noticeable but not overly strong. A different take on Hefewezen, for sure. Alewife liked hers; me, not so much.... Prosit!

Picked this up at the store where I work.
Hefeweizen on blueberries.
Poured into a Weihenstephan Heffweisse glass.
Very nice fluffy head. Purplish-blue color. Decent lacing.
Blueberries on the nose.
Blueberries are there on the taste, but not overpowering at all.
Overall I highly recommend this. Very impressed!
