First had: on tap at Crop
Amber pour, seemingly darker than usual for the style, topped with a wispy layer of bubbles; minimal retention and lacing. Belgian yeast in the nose, true to form, toasted grain, not much else. More of the same in the taste, fruity Belgian yeast, candi sugar, toasted wheat, light roasty notes, mild herbal hops. Decent, light-medium body, a little lacking in the feel overall. Drinkable, but not quite memorable.
