Served in a pint glass - not sure about that. But looking at this beer this doesn't even look like a Saison. Clear light caramel brown on color. Appears to have been filtered - odd for a saison. Little head. No retention. No lacing. Aroma is sort of Saison-like. Sweet, like caramel apple with yeasty esters, but oddly no yeast. A little band aid. Taste is not good. This isn't a Saison. Mildly sweet with notes of caramel, apple and pear. Fruity, but inappropriately fruity. Medium bodied. Slick. Medium carbonation. Low bitterness.
This isn't a very good beer. It's as if the brewers took a generic pale ale recipe and used a Saison yeast and then hoped for the best.
