Pours a fairly hazy golden color with a hint of orange. A small ivory head dissipates somewhat quickly into a ring of foam.
Fresh cut grass, wheat, and lemon lead the aroma, with resin and grapefruit finishing.
Initial flavor is decidedly bitter, brutal resin, with hints of grapefruit providing respite. Citrus becomes more prevalent as it warms, and the wheat provides more support.
Body is moderate with moderately high carbonation, and a somewhat dry finish.
Overall, a lot more bitter than anticipated. Requires a few sips to acclimate and allow flavors to emerge. I'd prefer to taste the citrus a bit more.
