Poured into a Blanche de Namur small pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a half finger white head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of light bready malt with brett and a light tartness; light grassy, lightly floral hops. Flavor is funky, bready malt, hints of citrus, lots of brett, light diacetyl and mild tartness. Finishes with lightly tart, funky citrus and grassy hop bitterness. Medium bodied. Delivers what it promises, a bretty take on a pale ale; the hops are subsumed into the wild yeast, to this is more reminiscent of a saison, but with a more typical ale base. Interesting, but not my style. I think brett fans would find this to a worthwhile way to spend an evening.

Not much head but it all piles into the middle like that cloud that hangs around Mt Fuji. You know the one. Body is thick n hazy. Golden amber. Marigolds would be proud.
Definitely smell a little bit of brett. Some lemon some bread some of that... can't quite put my finger on it.
Some funk to start out and a lot of butter. Some floral and grassy hops. Yeasty even beyond the brett. Ends somewhat muted and a touch underwhelming. A decent bretted IPA, but somewhat reserved. Definitely don't regret trying it out, but probably won't need another one again soon.

Poured from 375ml bottle into a tulip.
Appearance: light golden hue with plenty of haze and a finger of frothy white foam. Quite nice.
Smell: lightly buttery and funky. Definitely a sour acidic tinge with a bit of hop aroma and a rather piquant character. It's dank and sour -- I rather like it.
Taste: funky, buttery, a little bit sour and quite earthy overall. Frankly, this is just the kind of beer that appeals to me. It's not overly sour, but that's OK; the funk is wild and woolly.
Mouthfeel: amazing. Medium body, but with a big carbonation that creates an amazing creaminess. Absolutely wonderful.
Overall: I usually hate diacetyl butteriness. This beer isn't rank with it, but it's definitely present; that said, this is an absolutely delightful beer that I could quaff gallons of, given the opportunity.
