This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. No lacing. The smell started off with a bitter lemon rind, sweet grassy, white pepper and a light citrusy pulpy flesh. Balanced vinous notes hit nicely. Tropical fruits come out sweetly like pineapple as it warms. The flavor is a nice balancing act of sweet tropical fruits, grassiness, and citrusy pulpy fkesh sliding into some sour to bitter vinous and citrusy rind qualities. Tropical fruitiness runs into aftertaste with drying vinous qualities. Moderately dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Carbonation feels good. Sour and sweetness seems to balance between wet and dry feels on my tongue. Overall, really nice American Wild ale that I would love to have again.

Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of funky ester with some light rose water and hoppy notes is quite enjoyable. Taste is a nice mix between some tart notes with some rose water, Nelson Sauvin hops, funky ester and a dry finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Lacking a bit of cohesion but very interesting nonetheless.

Second time I've had this beer. Very different than before. What was previously a fruity, sour, "Sweettart" of a beer is now a flat, sharp and lemony disappointment. Much cloudier this time. The beer is certainly sour, but not much else behind it. No bottle date. Loved it the first time. Beautiful label too.

Poured from an undated bottle into a large goblet.
A - Fall maple yellow, nice clarity, a quickly dissipated cap is supported by a meandering traces of carbonation.
S - Sharp sour lemon drops, a bit of burnt plastic and musty basement, sprayed with rice vinegar. The offering warmed a bit releases even more sour lemon. A bit monochromatic in this area. Very tight range.
T - Follows the nose, a bit too sour, I can see how the Nelson and Azaca pile into the very lemony nature of the offering.
M - Medium in mouth feel, the tongue rolls under the marauding army of sour, There is a short middle where a hint of sweet pops in, then rolled over by a tart dry finish.
O - This seems a work in progress, with some of the edges taken back I can see a great beer. This version needs work.
Cheers

Pours an effervescent gold with a thumb of eggshell colored head. Hazes a bit, zero head retention & lacing
S: Grassy, a little bit of pear
T: Grassy, tart, some lemon sourness/tartness up front. A little grassyness & lemon sweet tart as this warms. Finishes dry, tart & with lemon sweet tart
MF: Light body, delicate carbonation
Refreshing, but not really breaking any new ground here. I am not excited by this one

I'm def a fan of these new dry hopped sours, as long as they're done well.
Pours a nice fizzy bubly 1 finger head that fades semi quickly, a little lacing, clear lemony pilsner yellow color.
Nose plenty of sour, lacto like souring bacteria, a little sour apple and lemony, quite tart with a little tart apple cider thing, touch of minerality and grainy wheat malt thing, light nelson floral fruity hop, bready doughy malt underneath, some mild grape must and tropical fruit hops.
Taste starts quite sour, souring bacteria, tart lemony character and a mild tart apple cider, some pear cider as well, nice almost spontenous fermentation cider, some doughy creamy wheat underneath, a little raw sourdough bread, touch of minerality and phenol floral spices. then hops, not a lot, a touch of grassy, a little grape skin, tropical notes, faint citrus grapefruit and mango skin, all super light. Finish is tart, flemmy, little lemony funk and apple pear cider, touch grassy floral hop.
Mouth is med bod, decent fluffy carb, a little flemmy and nice sourness.
Overall not bad, sour was nice maybe a bit too sour, hops are barely there though which was not great, def wish the hops were a lot more, and sour flemmy was less, more of a generic sour than dry hopped sour.
