Someone brought this to March Madness 2017, and I legit can't remember who. Its from Washington, so elrogish is a strong contender.

Pours a mixture of light amber and pink, almost 1/2" off white pinkish head. Aroma went raspberry, then basil, but there was a lighter impression of strawberry as well, don't know where that came from.

Taste has a sweeter edge, doesn't really seem to fit in too well with the wild ale or saison style. There is an acidity to it for sure, but is it sour? The basil is noticeable, not as much as it was in that expensive gueuze I bought, but still there, neither too much nor too little.

Its a little weird of a beer to be called a wild ale, I dunno, maybe there is some super subtle brett or something, but it just tasted like a fruited raspberry beer. Carbonation was pretty soft.

The beer pours a murky pink with a large fluffy white head. It has high carbonation. The beer smells floral, with basil, hibiscus, fresh cut grass, raspberry, ginger, and lime. It tastes floral, with basil, fresh cut grass, raspberry, ginger, and lime. The feel is light and refreshing. A decent sour from Urban Family.

Pours pinkish red (color blind) with an thin white head.

On the nose basil, ripe raspberry, sweet candy raspberry, barnyard notes

On the tongue I get more grassy notes than basil, sweet raspberry, almost cough drop, barnyard notes

Overall a good saison, a little too much sweetness,

This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a pink color with a slowly dissipating white head. Pretty sure I see the raspberry seeds floating around. Messy sticking then sliding lacing runs down the glass. The aroma starts off with sweet sharp red raspberry then slides into crisp fresh herbal basil tones. Light lemon underneath. The flavor seems to start sweet through the red raspberry component. More seed-like, so the authenticity seems to be there. Crisp basil - refreshingly sweet with "grassy"-like effect. Sly crisp refreshing raspberry aftertaste with finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable smooth crisp sweet feel hitting my tongue extremely nice. Overall, damn nice raspberry ale. Of course, I would have this again,

Bottle:
Pours a lovely raspberry rose, with a demur head that is, however, bold enough to show some interest in sticking around and hanging out. Medium bubbles fused together by tighter, foam-forming ones. Pangea of thin bubbles across the middle of the surface. Mildly surprising aspect is the lack of lacing... though the thing collar grasps at the inner wall, it doesn't hold.

Nose is a light, but lovely mix of raspberry and herbs (presumably basil), and reached out to me as I pour it. It doesn't hold my attention, but it easily comes back as I bring the glass towards me. There's actually more of an influence by a dull, earthy funkiness than either of the feature ingredients, but that is quite all right. The raspberry is definitely there without much searching, though the basil hides a little behind that earthy funk curtain.

The taste has the funk shy away a bit, and the basil steps from behind the curtain. It seems like a knock, but it isn't, to say that this reminds me of those infused waters at some hotels. The raspberry and basil work together. The earthiness I think adds to that watery note (unfortunate in a way, but the benefit is it doesn't interfere with the featured ingredients). Feel is light, and very refreshing with a just below moderate

I quite enjoyed this beer as it was, though feel a little more funk or tart would have done it some good as a wild ale. As a refreshing light beer, however, it was quite enjoyable.
