Hazed apricot. Tart aroma and flavor with fruity notes but not strawberry; mostly rhubarb I guess. Tart > Fruit. Light bodied with a very tart finish. One and done.

a little pink color to this one, a bit more strawberry on it than rhubarb to me, but another cool fruited sour from these guys, they sure make some interesting beers in here! i will say, this is more sour and less funky than others i have had from these guys, seems less complex in that way, more just bacterial, less mature and wild than some, but clean in the sourness, and with a lot of fruit to help this stay interesting, and some obvious acidity contributed by the rhubarb too. the strawberries are ripe and sweet, jammy in the front and real natural, highlighted nicely by the well known flavor synergy with the rhubarb, tart and also very authentic. its real sour, sour enough that even a small pour is a good dose, its acidic and sharp and i feel it on my teeth, and it dries the palate right out after each sip, even though there is some amount of residual sugar from the berries here too. a touch light on the carbonation, just a little bit of a wheaty grain taste, but tons of fruit all the way. i like their sours that have more wild character, but no denying this is excellent beer even without that element cranked up. i have been really high on these guys for awhile, and it was a lot of fun to visit their brewery again and drink up, they are still killing it!

Pretty little rosy amber... like mildly bloody piss. Fuzzy white head that is more persistent than I'd expected. Crisp clear body.

Nose is lightly tart with an incredibly faithful rhubarb middle and sweet strawberry top. This is true to its name and intention without being cloying or artificial smelling. Mild mild earthiness and wild character, but I'm making a strawberry rhubarb pie presently and burying my sniffer in the filling and in the glass yields the same notes. Super into it.

Good balance of lightly tart that carries and transitions the rhubarb element with the lightly sweet counterbalance of strawberries. Again: this is just exactly what it says on the tin, really well executed. Nuanced notes of strawberry and rhubarb and some light to moderate tart wildness. Hint of lime bitterness on the back end as well. The aftertaste carries a touch more yeastiness than I'd prefer, but that's about it as far as criticisms on this one.

Not puckering by any means, but certainly in the sour spectrum tiny blanket of bright effervescence serves to add a spritzy nature that feels appropriate given the rest of the context. Exactly what it says on the label, and executed wonderfully.

This was / is one of my favorite fruit / veg beer I've ever had. It was strong as hell at almost 9% and had an extemely complex sour yeasty flowering to it. Could be lost on anyone unfamiliar with sours especially against the dramatic backdrop. Delicious, fruity, tart, and juicy, unique and distinct, and stands up as an imperial sour through and through. Strawbarb is a medium pale pink, without much head. It's an odd color for a beer, but appropriate for a fruity strawberry rhubarb bomb like this. This beer is tart, with plenty of strawberry flavor and a bit of rhubarb. There's not much complexity. WYSIWYG.
