The skies open with showers of Amarillo, Mosaic and Citra hops. The Downpour of hops enhances this IPA into a highly drinkable offering of tropical fruit, orange and mango flavors.

Fresh growler fill from Last Drop, served in a can glass. Pale yellow and very hazy, with a healthy dose of white foam. A good look for a NE IPA, but i suspect Seattle has something else in mind. Huge tropical aroma -- pineapple and mango were present in the room as soon as I open the growler. Upon tasting it's apparent that maybe NE IPA was *exactly* what they had in mind. Bitterness is extremely reserved, with off-dry fruit punch flavors all over my palate, and subtle carbonation to elevate the brew without disrupting its easy-drinking nature. Undercurrent of citrus.
NE IPAs risk a bit of "wateriness" which I don't love. This one has enough flavor to make up for it -- and make no mistake, this is a great IPA and worth seeking out. But it keeps it out of my top tier of favorite IPAs.
