Had on tap. Looks like dark mango juice. Smells like lightly sour mango juice. Tastes like mango juice with a hint of puree and tartness. Flippant attitude aside there is some supporting apricot, lemon and pineapple but otherwise mango all the way. Feel is lightly sour with a thinner body but super bright and juicy. Would be amazing on a hot summer day!

Pour is very thick here, reminiscent of one of those sweetened Goya fruit nectars, which is only enhanced by the appearance. Color is full dark yellow - essentially mango juice. Nice frothy head to start that trims down to a solid ring after a minute or two, leaving a fair amount of lacing. Mango utterly dominant on the nose, though the hop undertones are certainly there and add some real body to the aroma. Faint whiff of vanilla as well. Not nearly as sweet as appearances suggest, as the sourness really cuts through the mango, while the hops provide a subtle bittering underneath. Mouthfeel is thick, but the carbonation cuts through well enough to provide some bite. Definitely one to try if you have the chance!

a citra hopped sour ale with mango, downright delicious. even though this isnt as wild as i have known from their sour beer in the past, and more directly bacterial, the flavors are amazing, super fresh and natural, well balanced, and distinctive. the mango is massive in here, and the beer even looks like mango juice, hazy and orange without much head after the initial pour, smells both sweet and pulpy from all the mango, but also very sour, clean though too on that, more lactic than wild, and without an appreciable wood profile of any kind. the citra hops are awesome in here too, fruity and lemony specifically, but they bring the mango up and make it more complex overall, the hops would be missed if they werent here, and they are perfectly selected. not much bitterness at all though, and the sweetness of the flesh mango remains dominant, as natural as can be, and just dripping ripe in here, its amazing, and it balances the sourness much more than any grain element. really delicious beer, oddly complex for not being very interesting on the fermentation side, and a sneaky 8% abv too, it drinks much lighter than that. another winner from these guys, still such an underappreciated brewery in my opinion...
