Pours a blushing golden amber with a fuzzy white head that swells to a finger or so before slowly settling back down to drifts and archipelago. Initial pour was mostly clear but by the bottom of the bottle there was enough to add some haze to the proceedings.
Nose is sharply acidic with rounded juicy notes of almost strawberry and light floral caps. Tart and lightly earthy under that. The sharp acid fades after a big first impression, but it's definitely still there.
Swells with sweet and sour notes. The hibiscus primarily shows up as an indistinct sweet floral character (makes sense) and the honey seems to give it some body and depth.
Bright effervescence helps distract from a sharply acidic finish.
This is not one of their best sours in my opinion but it's solidly enjoyable if you're just looking for a simple straightforward sour. Perfect for a warm spring afternoon.
