I was skeptical of the look of this beer but it was a pleasant surprise. Poured a deep red with hints of purple, soda like head quickly formed and just as quickly dissipated.

The look made me think this beer would be super sweet. But initial smell was lacto sour first and foremost; reminds me almost of an Arnold Palmer oddly enough, the berry comes off as cranberry.

A pleasant refreshing taste to it, very balanced. I get the same almost Arnold Palmer like vibe with a dash of berry as a sweetener to cut the sour.

Light to medium body, spritzy and lively carbonation adds to the refreshing feel of this beer; sour but not overly so and no bitterness.

blueberry sour, lucky enough to find it on tap. do these guys even still do bottle conditioned funky wild beers, or is it all kettle sours with trendy additives now? this one is pinkish blue, more head than most of these have from the tap and with some shine and relative clarity too, impressively tidy and bright looking. smells and tastes tannic and slightly more like generic berry than real blueberry specifically, but a case could easily be made for either, and it hits on nuance. i get blackberry skins and red wine, lemon rind too, i get clean professional lactic tang like a berliner should have, even the wheat part, this is beer still, which a lot of them are not, even from these guys. do i miss the snakeskin jacket days? heck yeah, more than anything, like, let a bottle conditioned brett beer explode and stain the drop tile ceiling of a crappy hotel room, those were the days! maybe they will never get back to that, but this is a cool expression of blueberries in an astoundingly dry and clean basic sour ale, they did this right, and its a borderline pint beer. insane for the style! also one of the dope names for a beer ever conceived...

Poured at fridge temp. Pours a nice dark pink with light pink head. Quickly disappears, leaving no lacing. Tiny bubbles continue to persist throughout.

Nose is sugar-coated blueberries, watermelon, mango, and a hint of vanilla. Fairly light otherwise.

The taste is really nice. Tart. Blueberry pie, a nice level of sourness (not mouth puckering), lemon, watermelon, cantaloupe, and candy. Really nice. Sweet, sour, and tart!

Overall, a really nice sour beer. It was fun tasting it!
