Served in 16oz rocks glass. Poured a solid black color with a third of an inch of tan head that had moderate retention and light lacing.
There was a solid grain base in the nose, topped by a strong roast aspect.
Same on the tongue, with the roast being notable stronger, and building up over the course of the glass.
The body was medium-full, smooth, and had lingering roast that brought in a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was good, I'd happily drink this again.
Overall, a solid take on the style. Certainly worth a shot if you see it.
