This is described as a "New Zealand Pilsner" and brewed with Wai-Iti and Rakau hops. This has a distinctive taste that causes some consternation in trying to identify flavors. But there is an apricot taste and something like white grapes. Fairly dry but well balanced.
Pours a clear aber with plenty of foam in the Orval chalice. Overall this is quite quaffable, being more flavorful and less bitter than a lot of Pilsner-style brews. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 12/17/21 with a geological allusion.
