This pours a frosted orange-amber color with plenty of creamy foam in the New Belgium snifter. Flavor is very sweetly fruity, in the Orange Julius vein, which should tip you off to the NE character, though not admitted on the label. The label, actually, is quite an eyeful, a steal from the Ed Roth Rat Fink style.
Aroma is all orange peel. Sudsy and creamy on the tongue. This is more like how a NEIPA should be if the brewers wanted people to actually drink the stuff. Minimal acidity, aromatic, a pleasing fruit bomb. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 03/08/23.
