Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Date on the can is illegible.
Appearance: medium yellow hue with plenty of haze and a thick head of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: almost-tropical fruity aroma, with maybe hints of mango but also plenty of melon aroma. I am enjoying it.
Taste: moderately sweet malt with lots of that melon kinda flavor, with a little bit of a drier, herbal finish. Not sure of the exact freshness of the can, maybe that’s the issue with the finish, but it’s still a darn tasty IPA.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a pretty solid hazy! I like the melon character, and I’d have been stoked to try this super fresh (if, indeed, freshness is an issue here).
