Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 2/19/25.
Appearance: pale golden hue with a dash of shimmery haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: lightly sweet malt with some nice citrusy notes. Not complex, but not bad.
Taste: malt is rather sweet; hops are citrus peel and maybe a little passionfruit. Bitterness is moderate. There's kind of an imbalance or something here; the flavors just don't quite mesh for me.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation and a nice creaminess.
Overall: it's not too bad, but it's not the best pale ale out there.
