Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 11/4/25.
Appearance: medium yellow hue with plenty of haze and a thick head of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: sweet malt with a lovely Orange Julius kind of aroma. Mixed into that is a little bit of a tropical pineapple character that has a little zest to it, which really makes the juiciness pop. I quite like it.
Taste: malt is somewhat sweet, but it’s balanced with the strong hop character. The flavor has kind of a bitter orange peel flavor with some more earthy tropical notes like papaya. There’s some hop burn in here, too. I like it, but it’s it’s not quite as clean and juicy as the aroma.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: the aroma on this beer is good, and while the flavor isn’t bad, I wish it reflected the aroma a little better. A perfectly reasonable hazy IPA, but it doesn’t quite blow me away.
