500 ml bottle, from Ales By Mail. ABV is 5.5%. Brown colour, slightly hazy. Huge and lasting off-white head. Malty aroma, hints of lightly roasted malts too, some fruity and piney hops. The flavour has also decent malts, but is rather dry. Fairly distinct piney and grapefruity (American?) hops. Decent beer, but the the style is not very "British", nor very "Christmassy".

500ml, bottle-conditioned. Pours reddish-brown with light tan head. Aroma piney hop. taste: plenty of piney hop. Some fruit. Quite bitter. Palate: quite syrupy. Overall: strongly flavoured hoppy bitter.

On cask at The Wenlock Arms in London.
A-Golden blonde with a thin foam of bubbly brilliant white head.
S-Biscuity malt, sweet tropical fruit, carmelized sugar. Reminds me of creme brulee.
T/M-Not what I expected. A straightforward bitter, with a grassy, hoppy finish. A bit bland.
D-The nose lead me to believe it would be more interesting. Still worth a try.
