Good thing this is a hoppy beer, it really helped to disguise the complete bad beer taste, I would not serve this if i was the brewer here. I agree with the aromas of citrus and pine, very American.
The color is great for an American IPA, perhaps a little light on the mouthfeel? But the aftertaste is that of a Belgian IPA, similar to a Double X bitter with an American profile. I just don't think this is what they were going for and the bartender didn't know much.

Enjoyed at the brewpub.
A - Poured into a standard pint glass a nice crystal clear dark golden hue with a one finger creamy white head that fades to leave nice lacing and a sticky blanket.
S - Aromas of a very pleasant malt build, good citrus notes, nice grapefruit, pleasant citrus with nice tangerine and pine.
T - Taste is nicely bitter, good pine finish. Bitter grapefruit rind, solid citrus zest, nice lightly sweet malts with a gentle cracker note. Good crisp flavours with a very lingering bitterness.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, clean, pleasant bitter finish.
O - Overall this beer was tasty, good hop profile, nicely bitter. Very easy drinking.

Tap at the brew pub.
Decent fizzy head, crystal clear honey orange color.
Nose nice floral hops, very floral fruity and grassy, nice aromatic floral fruity hops, gets a bit spicy and chewy, very light malt.
Taste nice grassy floral hops, big fruity hop note too, juicy hops and fair bitterness, mild sweet malt base, mild grapefruit pith and citrus notes, that turn spicy and chewy late. Finish is dry and fairly bitter.
Mouth is med bod, decent carb,
Overall pretty nice for a good pale, great nose, wish it carried through a bit more on the taste but still a nice overall profile.

On tap and served in tasting glass
Copper orange translucent pour with a thin white layer grabbing the edge of the glass.
Aroma of fresh citrus and pine jumps from the glass.
Taste of the hops pine and then citrus. Bitter aftertaste is dominate on the finish
Medium mouthfeel. Good carbonation.
Another good beer, but came in third in my tastings behind Another Lover and then Satisfaction.
