Cask pulled and poured into a tasting glass
Hazy brown , opaque, nice taupe lid.
Nice balance between the rye and the hops. Earthy, bready aroma.
Rye is the first tasting balanced and followed by the hops. Smooth, medium, medium mouthfeel. low carbonation.
Very nice beer but finished fourth in my sampling sat the High horse this evening. Nonetheless, a very nice beer

On tap at the brew pub.
Comes to the table a solid dark brown with a decent sized tan head. Smells of light caramel and bread with lots of spice and plenty of resinous hop. The flavor follows the aroma resinous dank hop treatment against a hint of bread with the spicy rye character. Medium body with a moderate amount of carbonation and a resinous slick mouthfeel. Great beer, my favorite offering of the day.
