Appearance: dark brown almost black in color with a 1" head that lasts a while.
Smell: mild roasted malt aroma is all you get.
Taste: roasted malt, bits of chocolate, some spiciness, prunes, and a moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Lightly crisp throughout.
Overall: a slow sipping and satisfying beer. Well balanced and flavorful.
