Brewed with wheat, orange peel, coriander, and Citra hops, our take on this popular Belgian style has aromas of hay, citrus and spice. Bright lemon and orange flavors meld with subtle graininess. Creamy yet effervescent, and very easy to drink.

This is a solid witbier, full of flavor, if maybe a touch heavy on the coriander/lemongrass. It's a very light beer, great on a warm summer day, though I'm not sure it would go with all of the suggested food pairings. But on its own, this is a fine beer, and I'd clearly get it again.

CAN:
Soft mouthfeel. Grainy wheat-dominant taste. Subtle clove spice from the Belgian yeast. Citra hops don't come through much, but I do get a hint of lemon/lemongrass probably from the yeast.
High C+ / ABOVE AVERAGE

Part of their sampler pack.
It pours a lightly hazed straw gold with minimal foam and lacing.
It smells yeasty, has coriander, bananas, cloves.
Taste matches the smell with an addition of orange zest. Very lively flavours.
Medium bodied with lower level of carbonation.
Quite the tasty Wit.

12oz can from the brewery.
Pouring all of the goodness from the can yielded a slightly hazed beer with a creamy, foamy white head with some solid stick. Soft aromas of bread, wheat, pepper, coriander and orange. Very crisp and light with a sharp lemony snap upfront with some grassy bitterness, suggestions of lychee and orange peel flavors that round things out with some fruity depth. Dry, semi-astringent and grainy in the finish with lingering spice and yeast notes.
Wave Wheel Wit is a very balanced, dry and solid Witbier. Its crisp dryness, spicing restraint and use of Citra hops is refreshing.
