Thanks Steve G.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a glossy yellow color with a small cap of white head. Gently slid off into oblivion to yield no lace.
The aroma carried a fine hoppy oily danky to gassy earthed quality. Piney-ness opened up with some warmth.
The flavor charged forward with a clean hop oily to piney danky earthiness. Light toast then dark bread in the after taste.
The mouthfeel was between medium and full bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Oily hops seemed to be slightly distracting and giving off a fair stickiness to it. Not cloying, but one would think, quite possibly. Good level of carbonation and ABV. Piney to danky and oily finish.
Overall, pretty nice AIPA. Me, I'm used to the Magnum hops, it's not a very popular hop used by brewers here in VT. But I'm thinking that's the hop possibly causing the oiliness going on.
