A nice amberish red in color, with a very good head and head's retention too. Smell of malt and caramel, the honey is not very present.
Taste a bit of caramel, then malt, a touch of hops comes in and finish the beer, nothing very short of good. I would have liked the honey flavour to be more pronounced and make that beer more sweet.
Not bad

A honey brown, which the regulators should fine them for brewing. Awful smell, not much taste. Surprisingly sour and bitter, with some sugary syrup hacked in, and thin mouthfeel. Unattractive colour. Really off. A strikeout at Doug Shoemaker tasting party.

This is Saint-Antoine Abbé's Bottle-Conditioned Honey Brown Ale. The 1cm head is tan colored and dense. The beer is a dark red (+ brown) and hazy. Sweet caramel in the nose, with some overripe fruit. Dark smelling. Sweet honey in the front with dark, sugary caramel. The middle is fishy. Fruity caramel. A tangy, sour fruit finish. This beer has really strong tangy fruit and caramel flavors. A quite sweet beer with sour fruit. Not great.
