Looks like a perfect coffee stout. Black with a thick dark carmel head that quickly dissipates to a beautiful lacing.
A soft coffee grounds aroma but not much else. Aroma is not over complex.
Has a ok taste. Nothing jumps out at you. Slight roasted malt flavor to open with an espresso/coffee grounds taste to finish. Slight coffee bitter aftertaste which is pleasant if you are a coffee drinker.
Mouth feel is a touch too carbonated which clashes some with the coffee rich flavor, but overall very smooth.
Overall this is a solid coffee stout. Not a 'Must Have" but if you see one and are in the mood for a coffee stout worth a try.
