a little more beery and less dense than the peach habanero edition of this, but still a beer thats fully smoothie textured, thick as can be, over fruited by any standard, and not very well refined overall, just too much of everything for that, but it tastes good, really good, and the fruit balances the clean sourness nicely. it almost feels more like a health drink than a beer, slippery and gelatinous, but the flavors are nice again, the apricot and mango are pretty even in this, they are both coming across as real fruit to me, and they feel just kind of pulped up in a simple kettle sour, like really there isnt a whole lot too this other than its like half fruit. i cant get past the syrupy thick texture of any of these slurry beers, but its cool that they were able to bring this much fruit to the table. i love the apricot especially with the acidity of the base beer, its a great back and forth, and this one at least has some carbonation to keep it moving a little bit. tasty if you like a lot of fruit, but for me this is little more than a novelty series, weird as heck and palatable, but these are not really beers for actual drinking...

edit: after over a month in the fridge, our second can of this really cleaned itself up, not even all that hazy until the bottom of it, let along thick and jelly-like the way it was when fresh. visually improved for sure, but a lot of the most intense fruit elements have faded, and this is a more familiar type of sour now. a total trade off, not sure which i prefer, but much less unique with the little bit of time on it...
