the third from this series we popping in a row, another thick, heavily fruited, lightly sour near beer that drinks more like a melting blender drink than a beer, but really does taste very good. this is pinkish orange, dense and leggy in the glass and without any head after a second, smoothie textured like the others, very strange and not something i could ever really get used to. this is a nice combination of flavors here though, one of my favorites of them, like pink starburst and strawberry lemonade, sweet and tangy at the same time, real fruit again which is nice, strawberry in front of lemon just a little bit, somewhat more acidity than the others because of that, but in a good way. this is a summer drink, even with the absurd viscosity, this tastes like it needs crushed ice and an umbrella in it. its a reach to view it as a beer, at least for me, but these flavors are delicious, no denying. really robust flavors, almost a little feminine, but in a kind of sexy way. palate coating, slightly sweet and candied, but authentic too, very good overall if you can open your mind to it being beer in the first place, certainly boundary pushing. maybe my favorite of the three...
edit: with a few months in the fridge this cleans itself up well through the top two thirds of the can, now clearer, pinkish orange, less cloudy and way less viscous. the lemon pops and its super tart, but the strawberry is still there too, and its really clean and good. the lemon is so real, a note of orange with it, shocks my palate really. wow. perhaps unintentional, but this settles out into a better beer over time, less slurry-like, but thats more than okay by me. amazing flavor here!
