12 can from Brewers Haven. Flat caramel colored pour. First on the nose is the hazelnuts, soft banana notes. Taste finishes with the banana, can't find the chocolate, minor hazelnuts and vanilla. Lacto gives it a slick, creamy feel.

Fresh-ish 12oz can poured into a nonic.
A: Mostly clear gold until I poured the last of the can and a whole lotta sediment into the glass, turning it a murky brown. Minimal head and lace.
S: Impressively banana cream-forward with plenty of notes of lactose and vanilla, with a mild nuttiness and cocoa character as well. Definitely sweet. Hazelnuts really pop on the nose when I poured the yeasty sediment into the glass, leading to impressions of nutty peanut butter dessert.
T: Quite a dessert brew with flavors of bananas foster, vanilla cream pie, peanut butter fudge, white chocolate, and chocolate-covered hazelnuts. Delicious.
MF: Creamy and smooth for the most part, with a touch of unpleasantness from the sediment towards the end.
O: Not cloying at all; if you don't like banana you won't enjoy this, but the flavors are all there and work together well in my opinion for a small-serving dessert cream ale. Recommended.
