Nice purplish-red color, hazy, and silty. Smells like pie cherries, mild lactic acid, and something chalky.
This thing is tart! Right up front are sour cherries and that lactic acid, a bit of yeast, and finally some sweeter raspberry notes. There’s also a bit of biscuit malt at the end.
It feels wet, perhaps detrimentally. There’s a surprising warmth considering it hovers at 6%.
Enjoyable, but I’d like it better with a drier finish.
