a little sweet with the lactose, but this is another nice shades sour overall, this time done with pineapple, pomegranate, and strawberry, juicy, natural, heaps of fruit, and overall better refined than a lot of these have been, although they often look better on tap than from the can. no real sediment in this, more head than many of them have, good carbonation, no obvious viscosity, looks nice, pale orange. the nose is more pineapple than anything else, a little lactic sourness with a lemon note and maybe some tartness from the pomegranate as well, clean on the souring though. the flavor is more strawberry driven, natural up front, ripe and real, more jammy through the back half and the finish, sweet on the swallow, but identifiable as strawberry and real nice with the pineapple, this would be a good yogurt flavor. i get a little mimosa vibe too from this, the sourness and some citrus character through it, and the high carbonation plays to that theme well. nice fruit flavors overall here, not at all overly acidic, and more dialed in on the quality side than is often the case with their beers. really enjoying the steady stream of shades stuff coming around, all of it is adventurous and fun!
