the latest in this wild series of flavored sours that just keeps on going. this again looks more refined than they have been in the past, a few better looking ones in a row, and hope that they have dialed these in a bit on the technical side, good news a long time coming! its pale yellow, straw colored and hazy, fizzy but not holding a lot of head after a minute. the nose is tart but cleanish, i smell powdered peanut butter, honest to goodness bread crusts, and sweet and tart apricot jam, quite authentic in each part, and very true to the sandwich, only a little weird as a sour beer foundation. the flavor is similar, the peanut butter is the weak link for me, the proportion is good, but its not as real tasting as it was in the original one of these, powdered and sort of dusty to me, but the apricot jam part is epic, better than the original, all on the finish, very authentic, almost seems made with the jam rather than real fruit, and the breadiness of the malt is expert, it truly does create a sandwich vibe. sourness is moderate, its tart but i could do a whole can of this for sure. bubbly like a soda, light in body, pretty fast finish, the sliced bread tastes outlasts the peanut butter and the apricot jam. unique beer overall, cool series, better than novelty level beer even though it seems like that...
