Pours murky pale pink with a big 1/2 inch white head that remains throughout the drink down as a thick cap on top and leaves heavy strands of lace. Very impressive.
Smell is somewhat muted and is of musty yeast, fresh cranberry and bready malt.
Taste is of tart cranberry and biscuit-like malt with hints of Belgian yeast.
Texture is approaching heavy bodied with medium carbonation.
Tart and sour cranberry flavor dominates with a solid malt backbone and hearty mouthfeel to keep it grounded. Another solid effort from the I & I team.
