Pulled from the cask at Euston Tap next to London's Euston Station. (I had just arrived from Brume with lots of luggage.)
Refreshing and fresh. In fact, refreshingly fresh.
Looks about average except the freshness shows in how the lace sticks to the glass. Smells like the standard, nicely roasted malts. Tastes well-balanced, only modest hops needed for because the malts are roasted and blended well. Sits in my mouth fine, nicely dry. And after schlepping my luggage through a busy train station, I appreciate better what goes into being a porter.
I went on ELB's website and they have a good start. A husband and wife team, they have good packaging and, I presume, what I just drank, good stuff inside the package. Good luck. Be glad that brewing is much more routine than a renovation.
