Another good one from Buckeye Lake Brewery. This nice porter from the
22 oz bomber pours a murky dark brown with a nice mead of off white foam
that settles to a thick ring, thin layer, and features some nice lacing. Nose of
dark roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla, and light char. Flavors follow the nose but
exceed by profile with dark cola notes blending with roasted malts with a touch of char
and a balanced vanilla note. Nice mouth feel; smooth, rich, creamy, and a lightly bitter
char note that cuts lightly through the sweetness. Very nice.

Cheers

22 ounce bottle. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours very dark brown with about a half inch light tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells like vanilla, milk chocolate, and roasted malt. I think the taste is the same as the aroma, it's all about the vanilla, milk chocolate and roasted malt. Very sweet and malty! Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit coating and creamy. It's also smooth and easy enough to drink. I thought this was good, I wouldn't mind picking up another bottle at some point. $6.99 a bomber.
