Tired Hands saisons, one of life's true pleasures. thank you for these, TH, signed a grateful cavedave.
Dark gold, supremely cloudy almost turbid, few bubbles yet there is a stiff topper that lazes down to nice cap for the ride, and leaves stupid lace upon glass.
Medium strength aroma, but nicely composed of citrus, straw, earth, pepper, some nice fruitiness underneath, and righteous funk that plays big but doesn't overpower.
All the flavors of the nose here, but less straw in the taste, more funk, blessedly so. all the goodness that can be gotten from this wonderfully crafted beer is bright and clean like spring sunshine. Such great balance and simplicity, a work of art by a master.
Low carb., easy drinking, highly refreshing, interesting, with a spice presence that never builds on palate, and a linger that stays clean as one could wish.
Another great saison from a fantastic brewery that sets its own bar so high that to stay true it must, and does, deliver works of art. Most highly recommended.
