"Crushable citrus IPA brewed with flaked wheat. Hopped intensely with Motueka and Simcoe. Conditioned on heaps of blood orange and grapefruit puree."
Cloudy yellowy-orange color with a foamy white head, nice retention and good lacing. Aroma was actually not as citrusy as I would have imagined from the recipe notes, but still crisp with citrus pith and rind, with a lot of grassiness, light toasted grains. Taste was on the thin side, but still about right for the lower ABV/body they were going for. Grapefruit rind came out the most, notes of orange, grass, a little juicy sweetness, toasted wheat. Body was light to light-medium, mouthfeel was crisp, thin, but smooth and pleasant. A good, simple, easy-drinking beer overall.
